Patient Details
The requested change was for fullness of the upper inner breasts, and cleavage, without disproporionately large breasts. Implants selected and positioned slightly medially and superiorly to meet her needs, through inframammary crease. The inframammary crease approach means the implants were placed through an opening created at the lower border of the breast, within the crease at the bottom of the breasts where they meet the chest wall. For more information about approaches for implant placement, please see procedural video(s) explaining breast augmentation at www.feelbeautiful.com.
Standard augmentation of post-partum involuted breast. The goal for this young woman was to enhance her figure, yet maintain a natural size. Implant selection reflects patient's size request, breast width, available skin, and pre-procedure breast gland volume. Cup size increased from A to C-D. Photo three months after procedure. In this, as most breast augmentations, Dr. Laverson's goals are: Size proportionate to the rest of her body, and that she is happy with, natural shape and contour, symmetry between right and left sides, soft texture, undetectable scars, minimize implant factors such as rippling or wrinkling, and preservation of nipple sensation.
