Our recommendation is to plan and perform Mommy Makeover surgery on the woman whose body is relatively consistent and stable.
Nursing should have been completed at least three months and preferably six months before breast surgery.
Breast milk is excellent nutrition for babies, but also for bacteria, and infection is a complication to be avoided.
Breast size and position may stabilize several months after completion of nursing, so implant and/or size selection and/or the amount and type of breast lift (if required) can be more accurately determined.
