Patient Details
Opposite arm from case 11, but same patient. Photos taken before and two months after brachioplasty, a surgical procedure to thin upper arms (above elbow) by removal of skin and fat. The operation is thins arms nicely through a scar along the back of the inner arm. Dr. Laverson incorporates strategies to minimize visibility of the scar, but sometimes it widens during months after. If the arm scar is wide, visible, or otherwise objectionable, a minor office scar revision procedure months after the initial arm-lift helps the scar disappear. Steve Laverson, MD, San Diego Plastic Surgeon.
