What to Expect from a Juvéderm® or Restylane® Lip Augmentation

Juvéderm® and Restylane® injections are administered in a quick and virtually painless in-office procedure. Prior to treatment, a topical anesthetic is applied onto the lips or local anesthetic dental type block around the lips for comfortable treatment. After the lips are numb, a series of skilled, incremental product placements are at your doctor’s artistic and professional discretion, which corresponds to your pre-treatment request.  A mirror at your side allows you to see the upper and lower lips between injections and to direct your own treatment.
