« Back to Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
Patient Details
Before and one year after abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with breast augmentation, mother of three. Side view shown first to demonstrate remarkable flattening of post-pregnancy bulge that tummy tuck can accomplish for some patients. Dr. Laverson detests, and tries to minimize the appearance of the transverse lower abdominal scar resulting from abdominoplasty. This \"after\" photo was taken at the time she presented to lower and improve her abdominal scar, a procedure Dr. Laverson often does in the office under local anesthesia a year or more following the original abdominoplasty. By one year after surgery, lower abdominal skin has healed and swelling has resolved. The scar is then improved in appearance and lowered further so patients have a wider selection of intimate wear and swimsuits to choose from.
