Before and three months after office breast lift under local anesthesia via areola approach to minimize scar for African American woman. Approach to breast lift is identical regardless of ethnicity, but darker skin requires extra care to avoid visible scar. Note skin imprint around areola in front view after procedure. This is from areola silicone sheet supplied by Dr. Laverson which she has been wearing to soften scar. She removed it for photograph. Dr. Laverson advises use of these adhesive silicone patches for several months after breast lift.
