What can I expect during a ThermiVa procedure?

During a ThermiVa treatment, Dr. Laverson will use the small ThermiVa handpiece to deliver radiofrequency energy to your labia, vagina, or both, depending on your goals. If you are having your labia treated, Dr. Laverson will wave the wand over your labia. You’ll feel a warming sensation, but the treatment isn’t painful. For a vaginal treatment, Dr. Laverson will insert the wand into your vagina and move it around slightly to access loose tissue. You will feel a heating sensation, but again, the treatment is not painful. A ThermiVa treatment requires no prep and lasts no longer than 30 minutes. You can pop in on your lunch break and return to your day as soon as you leave our office.
