Time on our schedule and space in our office are allocated for every patient and every service. You are special, so we are eager to meet you and to serve you. We prepare for you, and our preparations are costly. Staff salaries, office rent, equipment, supplies, and all operational expenses are paid from business income. If you don’t show up for your scheduled appointment, we’re paying for time and space that isn’t used. This waste of limited resources increases costs to others. We could have offered service to another patient during that time frame. Please show up for your scheduled appointment, or call 858-295-4001 to re-schedule far enough in advance that we can offer the time to somebody else.
Missed Appointments: Please inform us at least 24 hours before your appointment time if you need to reschedule or cancel. A credit card charge may be applied for appointments that are not cancelled in this time frame.
Medical Aesthetic Services: To schedule office procedures such as Botox® and/or injectable fillers, $50 – $100 pre-payment secures your 30-60 minute appointment and is applied toward the total cost of your treatment. If you need to re-schedule your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance to do so. The deposit is non-refundable if you miss your appointment and have not called in advance to re-schedule.
Cosmetic Surgery: A down payment equal to 20% of your total procedure cost is required to secure your date and time on the surgery schedule. Our patient concierge will help you arrange financing if necessary, and/or consider sources and methods of payment. When you schedule, the operating room, anesthesiologist, nursing staff, surgical technologist, specialized equipment, implants, garment(s), and all necessary supplies are ordered and reserved. The remaining 80% of your total fee must be received and/or financing arranged by two weeks before your scheduled procedure. These services are not billed to your insurance.
Co-Payments: Co-pays are due at the time of check-in for your appointment. We accept cash and major credit cards.
Insurance Cards: We are non-contracted providers for most managed care plans in San Diego. Please provide your insurance card and complete updated insurance information at the time of each visit.
Insurance Deductibles: If you have not spent the deductible for your plan year, you will be required to pay it at your appointment time. Please verify with your health plan whether or not you have met your deductible prior to your visit.
Billing: As a courtesy, we bill your primary and secondary insurance plan. However, you are ultimately responsible to pay for services provided but not covered by your insurance. It is your responsibility to call your insurance company and to find out which services are covered.
No Insurance: No problem! We enjoy caring for you, and offer discounts for reconstructive surgery to those without insurance. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, money order, and financing on approved credit.
Discounts and/or Gift Certificates: Please declare your intent to redeem gift certificate or discount coupon at time of appointment in order that staff may confirm validity of contract.
