Safety (Our Foundation)

We Worry So You Don’t Have To!

For all aesthetic procedures, Dr. Laverson’s mature surgical judgment, his high ethical standards, his many years of experience, the quality of his support team, and protective systems in place help secure your safety and your satisfaction.

Plastic surgery and anesthesia are safe. The vast majority of cases proceed uneventfully and problem free. Although your final outcome may exceed expectations, this cannot be guaranteed in advance. Surgery is an inexact science.  Many factors are unpredictable.  Revision of an unsatisfactory result is sometimes indicated.  Revision may not produce a result you’re pleased with, may delay your recovery, and will add unanticipated expense. Serious complications are rare, but  possible.  Age, general health, lifestyle, ability to follow care instructions, and other factors determine risk.  Complete disclosure of your medical history to Dr. Laverson at the initial consultation is important. This helps Dr. Laverson and the anesthesiologist assess your risk and take steps to minimize the chance of a problem or complication. This may include referral to your primary care physician for pre-surgical clearance, adjustment of your regular medication schedule, laboratory studies, and/or other measures.  The most likely possible complications will be presented to you in advance of your procedure. You will be asked to read, understand, and sign the applicable informed consent document(s), which are posted HERE.  Incorporate this information into your most important decision: Whether or not the expected benefit (advantages) of the procedure you are considering is worth the risks of the procedure (disadvantages). Remember, your face and body are the most precious items you own.

You are Protected at Feel Beautiful!

Many private, state, and federal agencies and state and federal laws regulate Dr. Laverson and Feel Beautiful. The rules, regulations, and requirements imposed upon our operations by these watchdogs help protect you, the consumer of services.  Not all physicians, surgeons, and practices elect governance by these organizations, but the highest quality providers do.  “Cosmetic surgeons” and other cosmetic service providers may be trained or certified by organizations with different standards.  Outside of the United States, you may not benefit from these consumer protections, and federal laws do not apply. We  pay extra for their oversight,  but Dr. Laverson abides by the mission and philosophy of the following entities which contribute to your safety at Feel Beautiful, and thus, by diminishing risk, add value to your purchase:
